Mystery Boxes and a Pink Chocolate Fountain

The Flourish Team were delighted to attend High Tea at the Shangri-La Hotel last Friday in support of the McGrath Foundation. This charity raises money to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities throughout Australia and to increase breast cancer awareness in young people, and their Sydney High Tea is an annual fundraising event. Guests enjoyed savoury and sweet treats (including a pink chocolate fountain for dipping marshmallows and honeycomb!) and organisers ran a silent auction and a raffle throughout the event, as well as selling ‘mystery boxes” (an adult’s version of a lucky dip). It was a great afternoon and such a worthy cause to support.

Learning how to make the most of our Linkedin profiles!

We had a fantastic time last Thursday evening with Peter Black learning how to make the most of our Linked-in profiles!

Many thanks to Peter for such a practical and informative workshop. Peter gave us many different ideas about how we could better our profile – a number of which are small changes to make, but which have a big impact.

One of the things that I hadn’t realised prior to the evening was that you could personalise your profile link – this was one of the first things I changed after the session.

If you weren’t able to make it on the evening, I still strongly recommend that you connect with Peter. He is constantly publishing interesting articles and his profile is a brilliant example of how to use Linked-In well!
